This Ramadan, Feed Palestine!

The imperative need to feed starving people in Palestine is a pressing crisis that demands our immediate attention this Ramadan. After 16 months of brutal and unrelenting starvation of the people of Gaza, the need to ACT NOW is not just a matter of providing aid—it is our moral obligation to tackle the starvation and malnutrition that is now affecting a significant portion of the population, with children being especially vulnerable.

The impacts are devastating: weakened immune systems, stunted growth, and increased susceptibility to diseases are just some of the consequences. The lives of countless people hang in the balance, and Muslim Futures stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people, organising and delivering the support necessary to help them survive and rebuild their lives. This Ramadan, we focus on providing a range of food security activities, delivered through our LOCAL partner teams and individual volunteers in Gaza to help families enjoy nutritious Iftar and Suhoor meals that will begin the process of rebuilding their strength and resilience.

Each day, we contribute to saving lives and providing hope and dignity across Gaza. Each day we are dedicated to distributing a variety of 'Tikyah' hot-cooked meals, staple food sacks, bread packets, food parcels, fresh produce and fresh drinking water to those who need it the most.

Essential supplies to support new-born babies and infants in Gaza, such as nappies and infant formula milk, are at an all-time critical low. Maternity facilities, alongside the entire infrastructure to support new mothers and babies have been completely destroyed. Yet local teams on the ground are bravely rehabilitating facilities as fast as possible to provide much-needed shelter and comfort to the families that should be celebrating new life, rather than being terrified for their own. Donate today and give life-critical support to the vulnerable and new-born.

Water for Gaza IS Water for Life. Currently, less than 4% of Gaza’s water is drinkable, crippling thousands. Muslim Futures has established a regular supply of water tankers, each providing 5,000 litres of clean fresh drinking water to over 500 families every day in North Gaza . Keep water flowing in Gaza EVERY DAY for only £189 per tanker per day! It’s more than water. It’s hope. It’s life.

Our generosity. Their relief.

Muslim Futures arranges hot cooked meal 'Tikyah' gatherings either street or kitchen based. Wherever possible, to support individual dignity, we arrange delivery to the families directly. We also have a range of food security activities such as food parcels, fresh vegetable bags and sacks of wheat or rice. Muslim Futures runs a fresh bread making shop during Ramadan, supporting well over 100,000 people with freshly baked bread, as well as daily water tanker deliveries using 5000l tankers. We distribute blankets to families, warm clothes and Eid treats to children and infant formula milk and nappies for the babies. In addition, most importantly we also distribute cash payments of Zakat to needy families to ensure that everyone has the chance to support themselves and their families by buying essentials.

Help us to spread joy and share the blessings of this great month.

In a month where we experience the pangs of hunger ourselves, this feeling is unfortunately all too familiar for thousands around the world.

With the cost of basic food essentials soaring across many countries, it is the impoverished communities that are impacted the worst. As food insecurity, famine and malnutrition increase, there has never been a more important time to prioritise Feed the Fasting. Insha'Allah that is our intention.

Our Ramadan activities always span our core countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Yemen and Syria. In Palestine our teams work across Gaza, from Rafah, Al Mawasi and Khan Younis in the south, Nuseirat and Bureij camps in Central Gaza, and As the poor, vulnerable and displaced struggle to survive on a daily basis, their needs are greater than ever. Let us, Insha'Allah, help ease their journey through Ramadan. With the blessings of Allah, subḥānahu wa ta'āla, fill a stomach, quench thirst , restore dignity and give hope to a family this Ramadan.

Please give generously.

Insha'Allah, the Blessed holy month of Ramadan is expected to begin on the evening of Saturday 1st March 2025, after sunset, and ends in the evening, at sunset, on Monday 31st March 2025, depending on the sighting of the moon.

Insha'Allah, working together, we can ease their journey through the Blessed month. The Prophet, sallallāhu 'alayhi wa’sallam said  Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person. (As narrated, Tirmidhi)
