Zakat-ul-Fitr

Every Muslim must pay Zakat-ul- Fitr regardless of their age or financial status unless they honestly do not have the means to do so. The head of a family normally pays for all members of his or her household. It was narrated in the Hadith,

“Charity does not, in any way, decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation [of the people].”  (Sahih Muslim)

We serve the the poor and needy regardless of their circumstance; they are either victims of war, displacement, disaster, or poverty, and always impoverished by hunger. Muslim Futures will provide either hot cooked food, pre-packed meals, or the staples needed to cook their own, before Eid, across Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Palestine, Pakistan, Syria, Tanzania and Yemen.
